Our goal is to provide customers with timely service in the event a return is necessary. We recommend that you carefully read the following notes detailing our return policy:
- Returns must be approved by Scooter Direct and must be labeled and shipped to the address specified by Scooter Direct.
- Returns of non-defective merchandise must be returned unused in the original packaging, within 20 days of purchase.
- Defective merchandise will be repaired or replaced at manufacturers' discretion.
- Product must be returned no more than 10 days after a Return Authorization Number is issued.
- Cancellations after order has shipped are subject to all Fees.
» Prior Authorization
Scooter Direct does not accept any return without a valid Return Authorization Number. Please call 1-800-987-6791 for a Return Authorization Number.
The customer is responsible for the all shipping fees, including those to the customer and returning to our warehouse. White Glove and any other labor service fees are not refundable. Customer is responsible for all packaging of products and packaging materials necessary.
» Re-stocking Fee
Customer will be charged a 15% re-stocking Fee for returned scooters and most other products and 20% for returned Powerchairs. Any damages and missing accessories will be deducted based on their retail value.
» Refund Processing Time
All credits will be processed within 2 days after receipt and inspection of the returned product. Provided all the return policy conditions above are met. (Processing may be slightly extended during the holiday season).
» Eligible for Return
Custom built, Special Orders, Bath & Safety items, or any other product marked "non-returnable" are not eligible for returns or refunds.
Scooter Direct makes every attempt to keep product pictures, content and specifications up to date but vendors continually make changes to products that may or may not be reflected on the site. Scooter Direct commits to ship the latest product available direct to you. Scooter Direct does not accept returns for minor variances in specifications or features that differ from the website pictures or content.
» Pride Lift Chair Cancellation Policy
The following policy applies to all Special Order and Builder chairs which would include any chair with Heat and Massage added.
- No fee if cancelled within 24 hours
- $50 fee if cancelled withing 48 hours
- 25% fee after 48 hours
- No returns on day of, or after, shipping
