All Product Warranties are Non-Transferable from the original owner and do not cover:

·             Damage Due to Normal Wear and Tear, neglect or misuse

·            Incorrect Assembly/Set up by the user or their agent

·             Improper use of the product

• Consumers are encouraged to contact the Retailer/Catalogue Company from where the product was originally purchased for replacement. If for any reason you are unable to contact them, Uplift Technologies may be contacted directly for warranty service.

• Contact must be made by either the Retailer/End User with Uplift technologies Inc. to initiate any repair or return.  Uplift Technologies Inc. maintains the right, where possible, to replace parts rather than replace the unit.  Note that all Parts replaced under Warranty will be shipped via Canada/US Post. Once contact has been made, a Return Authorization number may be issued and replacements will be issued upon inspection of the returned item.

• All repairs must be completed by Uplift Technologies Inc., their Authorized Agents or as directed by Uplift.  If any repairs or alterations are made during the warranty period, without the authorization of Uplift Technologies Inc. said Product Warranty becomes null and void.

• Shipping/Freight charges on items that will be replaced under the Product Warranty are the responsibility of the End User.  Return shipping will be done via “Ground” service.

Lifting Seat Warranty – Uplift Technologies Inc. guarantees that the Uplift/Upeasy Lifting Seats will be free from defects in material and workmanship for one year from the original date of purchase.

Commode Assist Warranty – Uplift Technologies Inc. guarantees that the Commode Assist will be free from defects in material and workmanship for one year from the original date of purchase.

**NOTE:        Due to hygienic reasons, product returns are not accepted. Product that has been opened must be considered “USED” and therefore ineligible for refund  

Risedale/Ottoman Warranty – Uplift Technologies Inc. offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty from the original date of purchase on the metal support structure and chair (excluding fabric and foam) and two years on the motor and electrical parts.

Day-Light Warranty – Uplift Technologies Inc. guarantees that the Daylight (excluding light tubes) will be free from defects in material and workmanship for five years from the original date of purchase.

THESE WARRANTIES SHALL NOT APPLY IF THIS PRODUCT: (a) IS USED WITH PRODUCTS NOT SOLD OR LICENSED BY UPLIFT (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, NON-LICENSED ENHANCEMENT AND DEVICES, ADAPTERS, AND POWER SUPPLIES); (b) IS USED FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES (INCLUDING RENTAL); (c) IS MODIFIED OR TAMPERED WITH; (d) IS DAMAGED BY NEGLIGENCE, ACCIDENT, UNREASONABLE USE, OR BY OTHER CAUSES UNRELATED TO DEFECTIVE MATERIALS OR WORKMANSHIP; OR (e) HAS HAD THE SERIAL NUMBER ALTERED, DEFACED OR REMOVED.

ANY APPLICABLE IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE HEREBY LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE WARRANTY PERIODS DESCRIBED ABOVE. IN NO EVENT SHALL UPLIFT BE LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE BREACH OF ANY IMPLIED OR EXPRESS WARRANTIES. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS OR EXCLUSION OF CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
